The

The 2 weeks out

vibe

You look good, feel good, eat well, and train hard, all while maintaining a life beyond the gym.

The origin:

I was really enjoying training and doing my best to eat healthy with the occasional cheat day here and there. I came into the gym to workout like any other day, and a friend stopped me, saying, “Man, you’re looking great. You look like you’re two weeks out from going on stage for a physique show.”

I was flattered by the comment and it motivated me to push a little hard to hit that “stage ready” physique. From this I learned a great life lesson that has proven true over and over again.

Failures happen at the extremes. When we push too hard or relax too much.

Let’s examine the two extremes.
“Two months out” or suboptimal. You feel out of shape and lazy, avoiding the gym and social events due to feeling unhealthy and far from your goals. The famous quote from Fat Bastard Austin powers, “I eat cuz I’m unhappy and I’m unhappy cuz I eat.”

On the opposite end, at your “peak” or optimal range, the only perk here is the esthetics. You look your best, but you can’t sustain it. This inevitable results in a drastic burnout, returning you to the suboptimal zone or “two months out,” forcing you to restart the journey or worse just give up. In the “optimal” zone, you look the part, but your strict diet and training regimen restrict you from deviating from the perfect meal plan or socializing past 8 pm in fear you won’t get your optimal hours of sleep.

This is where the concept of “two weeks out” originates. In my experience, this is the ideal space to live a happy and healthy lifestyle. You can easily tighten your diet to reach optimal condition or take a few days off and still look and feel great. Residing in this two-week-out zone enables us to look and feel fantastic in the gym while enjoying a fulfilling life outside of it.

Justin

Who am I? My name is Justin Fallon.

I began my fitness journey through playing sports in school. Like most people my sports journey ended shortly after high school, but I still had a strong passion to get the most out of my body physically. During college I discovered CrossFit. I loved the “sport” aspect it brought to training. There was absolutely zero boredom and I was highly motivated to get better daily.

Due to my sports background I excelled in the sport of CrossFit and soon found myself competing in elite level competitions. Soon I was no longer just training myself, but others around me, which transformed into owning my own Gym for 12 years. No matter what sports I played throughout my life I always loved the coaching and teaching aspect of it. The way a good coach motivates others and creates game plans and plays for his team, I realized I had a unique ability to bring that into the world of training–I know how to inspire, communicate, and get the most out of athletes. I feel this is what has lead me to such success working with clients to obtain their fitness and nutrition goals.
